Thank you Geoff Thompson (Metralla), Jim Elmslie, Brian Walsh, Duke and Lori Lejeune, Tony Digiovine and others for making the CES such a delightful event! As seems to be normal these days I arrived late, but unloading and set-up took all of half an hour and everything fired up fine and started to make music.......The DAC had some problems late in the day and Brian and Geoff got it working again and Friday the bias supply for the speakers started acting up and it took the combined talents of Brian Walsh, Jim Elmslie, Connie Frey and Bill Arnt to cure.......We were closed for three hours Saturday getting the new supply installed, but things were fine from then on.........As is normally the case, the Asylum party was a nice affair as nobody died, got terribly drunk, had a fight and Kal Rubinson again won the yo yo contest by default.........BWK and Grover arrived and I advised they could stay there and they decided to brave the weather and drive home that night and glad that worked out as we were all concerned for them.......All in all a nice show with lots of nice people.......
