I had both of my cats declawed abouty 15 years ago, one lived until 20 and the other one is still alive and well......It didn't seem to affect them at all, but their front claws can't be used for runing speaker grills and furniture........As far as stands are concerned they will normally get up on the highest point in the room, but they have been careful...Had to put a towel over the dust cover for the turntable is all.......They normally like laying on top of amps so be sure you have covers on your amps.......
