Go get out your Pink Floyd albums--specifically "The Final Cut", and put on "The Fletcher Memorial Home". The longer you keep all these idiots/criminals in the news-cycle, all you are doing is stroking their egos. They're basically all irrelevant now, but if you keep them in the spotlight, they'll never go away. Trump, (and his gang) makes headlines every day, because we let him. Ignore him, and he'll go away. But if he gets his "15 minutes" every day (for good or bad), he'll never go away--the old adage "any press is good press"?
