...I've always had German Shepherds and Dobermans--I was raised with German Shepherds. Trained properly, they'll protect you to their death, and love you to death--all at the same time. I now also have a BMD (Bernese Mountain Dog). His original owners didn't know what they were getting into, so I took him off their hands--still a puppy. I've always wanted one, but they have such short life-spans (like most big dogs), so I've never owned one before.

Dark--my German Shepherd is training him well.
