...this is what you fail to grasp. All of this "new tech"--going back to seat-belts, ABS brakes, airbags, traction/stability control WERE "options" (rather expensive ones, in many cases)--long before they became "standard equipment" or "federally mandated". The cameras and other "driver assist" BS is just following suit.
