...I was out plowing and disking a couple plots for planting. One is about an acre, the other a smaller 1/4 acre strip. My farm tractors are antiques--a 1948 Allis Chalmers, and a 1950 IH Farmall. They've got the old metal seats with a single leaf-spring on the seat as "suspension"--no "air-ride" on these babies. No power steering or hydraulic brakes, either. My lawn tractor is a more modern Kubota and doesn't beat you up even when mowing a few acres, but it's not quite big enough for plowing.
I'm feelin' it this morning...
