...OK--you and I can rent a place for $1600/mo and split the rent. If we invite a couple friends/girlfriends/roommates to split the rent with us down to $400/mo--but we can't do that?
Some of the people I went to college with lived with as many as 6 or 8 roommates in a rented big old Victorian home right off-campus. Eventually I bought a few of them and rented them out. Even the ones that I kept for my daughters to live in when they went to college, they had roommates that helped-out a little with some rent money (obviously my girls weren't paying me rent), but their roommates (that they hand-picked/invited) kicked-in a few bucks.
"And today is for sale and it's all you can afford. Buy your own admission. The whole things got you bored. Well the Lord chooses the good ones, and the bad ones use the Lord"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
