...were warranted (in some, but NOT ALL cases). Despicable waste of money on so many levels. I didn't get any of it BTW. Other people that were already retired or on public assistance, and suffered no loss of income got paid. Two thirds of the people that got the supplemental unemployment benefits made more money than they did working. Paycheck protection money was used to buy Ferraris and boats. Not quite "equitable" IMO. There's my "rub"--get that straight.
Maybe if MY gov't had paid ME like they did everyone else (with my tax dollars), I wouldn't be so bitter. I'll always try to contribute to society--I have a non-profit foundation, and am currently sponsoring 16 Ukrainian refugees living here--just tired of the socialist agenda that is so prevalent around here.
