RE: Moskva salvage operation

...there are inherent risks involved with attacking a salvage/recovery vessel in immediate proximity to a sunken warship that potentially has nuclear weapons on-board.

Besides, it offers no military advantage to defending their country. The ship and it's crew are out of commission--that battle was won--now back to the rest of the war. I sincerely doubt that there is anything that the Russians could potentially recover that would be of any value, in terms of advancing their military position. Why waste resources to no gain?
