Inmate Central, where civil and family-friendly discourse about off-audio topics (other than religion and politics) is welcome.

I'll have to admit--I like my salt...

...and despite what some will tell you--there is no substitute (in terms of flavor).

I cook from scratch, with fresh ingredients. The primary function of my microwave is re-heating a cup of cold coffee. I'll use it to steam vegetables (sometimes), but I don't "cook" in it, nor do I buy "heat and eat" crap from the grocery store.

Dark would love you--just no grapes, raisins, or chocolate--they are toxic to dogs. But he loves blueberries--he'll kill you for a pint of blueberries.

He's also "all-over" carrots, sweet potatoes and nuts. Before I moved up here, we lived in suburbia. I would generally put out one trash-can every week. My neighbors would put out two or three. They ate everything out of a box or to-go container. I cooked everything from raw ingredients. They probably paid more for packaging for the landfill than I did for actual food.

I just don't do "prepared food"--I prepare it myself, and I know what's in it.

"And today is for sale and it's all you can afford. Buy your own admission. The whole things got you bored. Well the Lord chooses the good ones, and the bad ones use the Lord"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
