Geezers like me that have everything paid-off--it doesn't really matter. I have largely divested myself from the real estate market, and the Wall St. market and am sitting on cash. It's not making much money, by any means, but I'm too old to be going through a crash and then waiting for the rebound. I'm a bit older now than I was in 2008. When the sh*t hits the proverbial fan, I'll probably get back into real estate. I've always made money there.
