...why is it anybody else's responsibility to fund/care for/raise YOUR children? I'm all for paying educators--to educate--not to be "servers" for free meals, counselors for every kid with "issues", and just a general day-care attendant--since you don't want to deal with your own spawn. Let teachers teach--nothing else, and pay them appropriately to perform that single task--without all of this other BS that they have to endure.
