...it clearly is happening. I don't doubt that the collective "we" have and are still contributing to it. However, I don't believe that "we" are 100% responsible.
I live a couple miles from the shores of one of the Great Lakes--which were carved-out by glaciers (I don't know how many thousands or millions of years ago), but there is clear evidence that the planet has gone through drastic climate-changes throughout it's history of existence. There are millions of species of plants/animals/organisms that once occupied this planet. "We" didn't kill them all. "We" are not responsible for earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
Again--not denying responsibility for climate-change, but not willing to take ALL of the blame, either. A specific aspect of climate-change is "global warming"--note the word GLOBAL. A consortium of a couple dozen countries cannot "fix" a global problem.
Every little bit helps, but for every coal-fired power plant that we shut down, someone else is building a new one. It is going to require a global effort, and not everyone is "on-board".
