Nice. What is going on with net metering in your state? In Arizona the electric utility has people on the corporation committee, that have lobbied and passed significant changes to net metering and allowed major billing changes to their solar customers. This has significantly changed solar payback etc. We are grandfathered in to rates that were very solar favorable, but we're about 2/3 through the 20 grandfathering period.
I can't even predict what the solar picture will be here a few years out. It sounds like you are well prepared for whatever contingencies, with the ability to install storage. I wasn't as forward thinking, and some things weren't available when I installed. What I am doing is breaking out part of the system into off grid.
