The Toyota Highlander Hybrid SUV gets 36 mpg city/35 mpg highway/36 combined mpg
The Toyota Sienna Hybrid AWD 8 seat minivan 35 mpg city/36 mpg highway/35 combined mpg.
The Toyota Camry Hybrid AWD sedan gets 52 combined city/highway MPG 51 city 53 highway. Real-world user got 58.8mpg well above the Toyota and EPA rating seen here

People can choose to buy an SUV or minivan that gets 15-22mpg or they can choose to buy any of the above three vehicles (among others) and get 35+mpg
They made the choice to buy cars with worse gas mileage and be more of a slave to inflation and fluctuating gas prices.
As my Republican friends would say - if you can't afford it then get a better job - pick yourself up and make more money to afford the gas or CHOOSE to buy cars that will lessen the impact on you wallet at the pump.
The great thing about FREEDOM is that you get to choose whatever car or SUV or Minivan or truck you like but with FREEDOM comes responsibility - if you choose to buy a car with 12mpg then you choose to pay more money in gas and you should be smart enough to know that gas prices go up and up and up. So if you are too stupid to understand that then that's on you - maybe tell your government to increase education funding so you can put basic planning/economics/business education as a core subject in elementary and high school. Maybe ADD books instead of banning them!
What is surprising to me is that it is Republicans who whine and moan. Do what Republicans always say!
Stop whining and do something about it. Curiously, it is the right-wingers who are being crybabies on this forum about gas prices. Poor little losers need to get better-paying jobs - lol. You made the choice to be too dumb to get a good-paying job and you made the choice to buy a gas guzzler. Bwahahahaha
