I lived in Mainland China back in 2008/2009. I taught at a Canadian Operated school. Like the right-wingers in the US (ahem Tenessee and Texas) - they banned books - they tore out the last chapter of the Canadian High School textbook that dealt with Tibet. But at least in the US, you can vote the book-burning Nazis out of office - for a while anyway.
