Regarding the "criminality" of illegal immigrants from south of the border...

Sure, som. are hardcore crim.nals, but I think that the m.jority of them are interested in escaping things like hardcore crim.nality in their hom.land(s), so that they m.ght live a m.re peaceful and less dangerous life HERE.

On the law-breaking scene, I think that im.igrants probably com.it m.re civil infractions than serious crim.nal ones, and do them m.re regularly than other types of people here do. And this is because they often have to resort to desperate m.asures in order to continue their lives here. For exam.le, one im.igrant m.ght secretly pack ten other im.igrants into his or her sm.ll apartm.nt when the rental lease specifies that only one or two can live there. Etc, etc...

Such things m.ght be considered violations of "civil laws", but they are not really related to the "crim.nal lifestyle", so to speak. They are sim.ly doing what they have to do to survive here (on the shitty wages they are earning).
