The murder rate in Texas jumped 35% from 2019 to 2020.Ranks 25th in the country. (rising means increase from 2019)
The worst are:
1) District of Columbia (rising)
2) Perto Rico (dropping)
3) Louisiana (rising)
4) Missouri (rising)
5) Mississippi (rising)
6) Arkansas (rising)
7) South Carolina (rising)
8) Alabama (rising)
9) Tenessee (rising)
10) Illinois (dropping)
11) Maryland (rising)
12) Georgia (rising)
13) North Carolina (rising)25) Texas (rising a lot - 35%)
Lowest murder rates in the USA
1) New Hampshire (dropping)
2) Maine (even)
