To blame their problems on the poor, and I mean blame in its

harshest sense, is to fail to see one would be in their exact position if one were they.

The alternative, of course, is to think one is a superior being to them.

There certainly are those who have risen above dire poverty, the foster care system, horrible schools, lethal neighborhoods, and attained some success. We call those people, "exceptions."

I have a hard time understanding how punishing the children of those who have made "poor choices" benefits anyone? It certainly isn't a Christian outlook, unless I missed the parts of the Bible where Jesus quizzed the poor about why the hell they needed Him.
