The targets are iPads and iPhones; IOS, not MacOS so neither way am I developing on the target. The simulators are very good but ran out of steam when I tried time slicing the audio transitions. Which leaves me to debug running on the target, connected to the host. To run on 15.1 requires the latest MacOS and Xcode. When I upgraded I started running out of memory. Hence the search for an adequate laptop.
MacBooks are great, but I use the air, for the form factor, connected to hosts. So this will mainly sit in a closet.
