It has been recom.ended that you NOT leave a bike equipped with hydraulic discs out in the hot sun for very long. Better park that bike in the shade on those very hot days (if any shade is available). And I think you can guess WHY this m.ght be...I'm still riding a vintage filet-brazed steel THORN M. I expedition/touring bike eqipped with cantilever brakes for touring and daily com.uting purposes. And som. people still prefer canti brakes on their touring bikes.
