I don't think it's safe to allow 17yr olds toting guns in crowds, in the streets, etc.
I realize you've dehumanized the first victim. Nothing left to do but kill'em once you've dehumanized'em. That's what Chauvin did that started all the riots in the first place.

It's also not appropriate for 17yr olds to arm themselves and engage in such a situation regardless as to whether officials did their jobs. Adults responsible for his care should've kept him away. That's my perspective as a parent/grandparent.
