RE: Which Virus Scanner, VPN, Password Manager do you like ?

IMO, virus scanners are a waste of computing resources. As long as you don't do stupid stuff, there isn't any real need for one.

VPNs are no panacea. If you can take the added hit in performance, then do it if you feel you must.

Password management is a real problem. I keep lists and often use the Firefox suggested long passwords and put them on a list, but let the browser keep them if it's a nothing site like a forum or such. I never save passwords for financial or commerce sites.

What I hate now are sites where they force you to change your password every so often and won't let you use any that you've used before. Sure, it's more secure, but it's awfully annoying.
