who is this entity that doesn't 'give' jobs? are you implying gov't controls the employment market and can manipulate employment stats?

if you are, that's actually true in part but ignores the private sector

isn't employment accepted and taken from a 'supply' of job offers?

'stimulate a down economy it's a completely different thing to simulate a good economy'

if gov't economic stimulus results in a 'good' economy is that economy really 'good'? economic systems should be assessed on 'health' since they're too complex to be examined with binary reductive thinking

your comments are likely made with brevity in mind Goober I'm just cautioning against language shaping our thinking, since all of us do this unconsciously; it's a proclivity of human nature and a mental trap

I think the point you're trying to make, or made, involves what you perceive as a problem [agreed, it is] and the results of trying to solve it by the gov't ... due to the complexity involved there's the usual unintended consequences creating other problems to be solved with solutions having ... unintended consequences ... to infinity & beyond!

anyway, my reply should not be construed as a criticism of you personally, but all of 'us' collectively and doesn't introduce anything 'new' since better minds than mine have pondered these things throughout history
