well, firstly paraphrasing the term science indicates to me that you must feel there's different interpretations of what that is ... and there really isn't ... unlike 'art' that may have many or conflicting & differing personal meanings it's just science ... it does have different quality levels as determined by how closely to scientific methods anything being examined is held to ... but the CDC is the gold standard for this

secondly, as prior stated you can read for yourself what the state of things are on any infectious disease at their web-site, along with their recommendations

since the CDC has a command structure with the field reporting and communications in place across the globe to gather data necessary to issue the best recommendations, those are logically the best available

all of this was never in doubt until the agency came under political attack [for obvious reasons] doing exactly what their mission statement calls for

I'm not interpreting anything from the CDC I'm listening to them

no benefit of the doubt needed

I've already made nonpartisan comments on election results in a unbiased fashion, there's no need to repeat them, so I won't

'Let's go, Brandon!" will fade away in due course like other abandoned memes
