'why are we seeing round after round of fiscal stimulus from the federal government even when the economy is growing?'
which came first the chicken or the egg?
'we don't know what (if anything) is guiding Fed long term strategy anymore. In the short term, we know the Fed isn't going to make large changes suddenly, which means the inflation situation is going to get worse before it gets better'
we are in a pandemic induced recession along with the rest of the world economy and there's little choice on spending to get a better footing ... inflation is lurking everywhere, the choice is running up debt on credit or more deflation with 0% interest
just keep your eye on CPI and ignore market spikes ... things will level out for the very reason that it's global and holding cash assets isn't a bad position for the time being so long as the stimulus is ongoing
there's sure a lot riding on getting the impending spending bill done eh?
