RE: With appeals and all he may never see a dime

it does smell, because after I 'sniffed around' a bit I read that 5 other 'white executives' were fired and replaced with either women or 'minorities' [ both? ] in that same time frame, which undoubtedly helped tip the scales for the jury awarding his suit

as far as 'real reasons' it seems that the defendants HR went a bit too aggressive with their cost cutting agenda which fits a well known MO in corporate America ... he was mere days away from gaining 1.5X his current annual bonus structure and qualifying for a much higher severance

that he and the others were replaced with females and minorities says to me that HR dept. took the opportunity to meet diversity hiring goals too

there's a very strong possibility that his former employers HR dept. didn't really connect the dots between those agendas and think things through ... also in keeping with a well known MO in corporate America, [incompetent Human Resources 'gurus'] opening up an opportunity for a successful ass whoopin' in court ... a far more realistic scenario
