Turbo or V6?
There was a mid year model change in 2012 between the old smaller model with a turbo (XXXX-2012) and the new slightly bigger one with the V6 (2013-XXXX) So, I bought a 2013 in June of 2012. I drove the turbo, handled nicely even for an SUV, but the lag was awful. New model, (what I bought) was bigger (no third row) and based on the CRV platform, not the Pilot, which drove like a truck. Mine is somewhere in between.
I know how much you hate them, but we got it for 2 reasons, wife REFUSED a minivan (which would have been better for me, since I was the one hauling the daughters to ice skating, ballet, swimming...) and since a MV was rejected it was the only model that fit the MONSTER car seats. The Audi Q5 was my choice, but too small and no stock at all and we were desperate.
And, just to let you, the car guy know, of everything I test drove, there were 2 cars that fit the car seats, the VW Jetta, and the VW Passat, which was just introduced from the new TN plant...so, no thanks.
