RE: More about Randy California...

There were two Randys in Jimi's early band. The other Randy was from Texas and Jimi called him Randy Texas.

Jimi asked Randy California to go to England with him but Randy's parents wouldn't let him go. He was under age.

Spirit's last album, California Blues, was recorded at my studio here in Ojai Ca.

This was just before Randy's death.

After his death John Locke and I helped Randy's widow with his stuff.

I have Randy's Echoplex and a few other items of Randy's.

He was a really nice guy.
