Funny you said that about pea soup, Koot.
This morning I gave SERIOUS consideration to making a pot of split pea and ham soup. One of my favorites even.
I decided to make beans with ham, white rice, and some nice cool mac-salad instead. It's just not quite cool enough yet here for soup, but soon.
Not many years ago poutine is something I never thought I'd ever poutine in my mouth, but I've come to learn the folly in that. How can go wrong with fried potatoes, gravy, and cheese?
Hand me a serviette, I spilled some poutine on the Chesterfield. Mm, mm, good stuff.
