Ah, got it.

I read an article in Forbes, I think, around the first of the year about how Brexit had lead to production cuts because all the products made in England were previously shipped to Italy, and then global distribution happened from Italy. When the article came out they hadn't figured out how to legally ship products to Italy given Brexit, and it caused production cuts.

I was afraid that ended up meaning production had been moved to China when I read your comment about the covers.
