Interesting article. Thanks for the link. I think that if human activity endangers the survival of species which are beneficial to us we should fix that, if possible. Honey bees, trees, sharks and oysters are examples of that. But if rats and cockroaches were endangered would I feel the same way? No, but then who knows what the effect on life would be if they were no longer around?
