What's the real risk/reward equation?

Look at the data. Schools are pushing all kids to get vaccinated. Only 391 kids under 18 died of COVID. At about 22% of the population, you have about 75 million kids. So, deaths in that group are 0.0005%.

Now, looking at 65 and over, 16.6% amounts to about 56 million and 473,845 of them died. Which is sad and we should have quarantined them from family and friends as COVID isn't as dangerous for young, healthy people, but deadly for those with health issues and advanced age. Anyway, deaths of those over 65 are 0.85%.

So, what's the risk versus reward. Heart issues in younger people have been seen even in athletes. It's no surprise that some might skip the vaccine. Children could have a higher chance of a bad reaction than dying of COVID. It's just science.

People need to be logical and make up their own minds. Personally, I don't discount out of hand that we're getting the best information and I'm tired of cheerleaders dismissing other opinions.
