I have three gas blowers and a chainsaw and none will start. The carbs are junk and the ethanol eats them up. I haven't tried the string trimmer in years since we got rid of all the grass and hired a gardener.
Anyway, I bought a Ryobi battery blower and got my wife to do the blow jobs. All of Home Depot's cordless tools use the same batteries like sawsall, drills etc.
The batteries also have a built in indicator. Just push a button on it and it's a 1 to 5 scale.
