If that right was so clearly spelled out by the framers, why did take another couple of hundred years for the SCOTUS to actually decide that John Q. Citizen had the Constitutional right to own a gun? And why did the SCOTUS have to decide the question in the first place if it was in the Constitution anyway?
And why are guns called-out in the Constitution and the right to own a means of transportation is not? Maybe because the right to own a means of transportation was considered so basic that it didn't need mentioning at all? But somehow guns made it in there. Hmmm ...-.
