Those models start out as basic raw parts.
They then paint, polish, tumble, etc, etc.
They drill, make, adapt many parts to assemble the models.
Those guys build models on the level of EXOTO.com, https://www.cmcmodelcarsusa.com/ and a few others.
I understand you don't like Facebook.
You could create an email using Yahoo.com only for the purpose of use with Facebook. This way you only have to give the most minimum amount of info about yourself.
There are a lot of very interesting groups on Facebook you would most certainly enjoy. They're easy to join while keeping your identity to yourself. I don't have what it takes to make those exquisite models.
So I dropped $16,000.00 on EXOTO and a few other lesser models.
