those are almost exclusively perpetrated with relatively high power long rifles with high capacity magazines
yes, of course there's many incidents where shooting rampages are carried out with whatever was at hand ... but the high body count ones always have the aforementioned in common
logically, that's where the focus should be regarding weapon access
Reagan was shot with a pistol, Lennon was killed with one
they have something in common ... one pistol, one victim
so there's a stat worth contemplating
