Inmate Central, where civil and family-friendly discourse about off-audio topics (other than religion and politics) is welcome.

Most of us don't.

Last time I saw the stats, about two-thirds of American households were gun-free.
Some people collect them and they're responsible gun owners. They keep them in gun safes, use trigger locks, never store them loaded, etc.
They aren't the problem. Neither are hardcore hunters like my sister's significant other.
We could do a much better job of keeping guns out of the hands of somebody who would shoot his neighbor over loud music but we don't. The public supports it, even a majority of gun owners support it, but money talks and bullshit walks. As long as bribing congress critters via "campaign contributions" is constitutional, nothing will change.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
