At the house level, and even more so at the State level, there's an whole herd of imbeciles operating as Manchurian type candidates. Completely unqualified for government but recruited and well funded by those desiring nothing more than self serving imbeciles willing to follow orders to sit in the legislature. And potentially these brain dead monkeys can break through to the Senate and possibly even Governorships.
I guess my point is corruption begins at the lower levels and it fuels the corruption at the higher levels. This has been going on for sometime but just recently we've seen the effects at the higher levels.
