That included the "new period" Stones, beginning with "Beggars' Banquet.""Lead guitarist." Well, insofar as anyone was in the band, Brian was. I put very little faith in what the Glimmer Twins say about Brian--- there was enormous jealousy on Mick's part because of Jones' greater charisma; Keith had a complex, also, because of Brian's superior musicianship: what would countless Stones songs have sounded like without his original contributions? With Keith, it was just one instrument...
