including in polluting water supplies.I'm opinionated, sure, that's why I'm taking the time, effort, and money to go native. I'd work with my neighborhood association if it prohibited this.
As far as personal observation--- dwindling species of birds/insects is a national problem. Have you counted the different bird species over a twenty year period? How about species numbers? Bees, same stats?
I like to imagine what a community of just 50% native gardens would look like. Heaven, most likely, to me.
And I'm sure all those lawns take cutting? NOISE! Air pollution from those gas engines.
