oddly enough, Kenny G mastered the technique

I've not much use for the charts he chooses to play but he's a tone tech

really an outstanding technical player

Dick Heckstall Smith is another unheralded master of breath and blues

sort of a British Kirk ... early Colosseum albums being noteworthy

and the gem 'Things We Like' with Jack Bruce, John McLaughlin, and Jon Hiseman, drummer par excellence

so there's a tip of the hat to those that kick ass ... except Kenny
