There are a number of highly secure, off-the-shelf (more or less) products available on the market.
A particularly effective one is the Data Vault offerings from Dell/EMC. There are other products which can make the assets on your network essentially invisible to the rest of the world. The idea being you cannot hack what you cannot see.
