Pipeline...

is the most cost-effective way to ship oil anywhere in the world. But as usual, there's always the downside to this practice notably regarding the locations as to where the pipeline will be constructed. During my pipeline tie-in project days, when I do my project scoping and engineering preliminary designs while designating the pipeline routes I always try to avoid any populated areas and secondly avoid any water crossings. But sometimes when you ran out of options you may have to do it. As after all like every project, it is driven by a tight budget of which sometimes I wish I have more to spend.
