it's not the communities responsibility to ensure the tech, construction and maintenance of this infrastructure it is the onus of those proposing running it through those communities, although those communities are being educated via experience and reacting with whatever leverage they hold for accountability ... but if said responsibility isn't proactive ...

operating in good faith is an excuse and plausible deniability when the shit hits the fan ... 'the only way for it to fail is thru human error for not doing their due diligence' is the same reason most airline crashes are pilot error

it's not like there isn't anyone paying attention to ... oh, let's say fracking for instance ... where every warning from environmentalist was ignored and the 'only ways' have come true with polluted water tables, fouled artesian wells, and ... have to admit all the micro earthquakes were missed but ...

you're certainly a knowledgeable individual on the technical aspects of this topic, but I can tell that I'm 'talking' with an industry insider that I risk making defensive and cast as an apologist whether intended or not ... it's happened with Mr. Davis and myself and ... anyway, I'd like his input too but ...

so, let's leave this tabled and kick it around later, I mean no ill will and your engagement and perspective on this issue is valuable to me ... but it's late and I don't want to squirrel the exchange up
