Yeah, infrastructure is dangerously dilapidated




If the pipeline fails it will pollute the Great Lakes from Mackinac to the North Atlantic. An issue that Whitmer sees as one of water flow; Enbridge sees as one of cash flow; Canadians see as one of oil flow.

P.S. In 2010, the failure of Enbridge Pipeline 6B destroyed the watershed of the Kalamazoo River to Lake Michigan. Cleanup took five years and toxic soils therefrom continue to be trucked to a landfill in Saint Joseph County, Michigan -- and one can imagine how unhappy the locals feel about their county being designated as the recipient of those soils. Farmland and woodland acreage in Saint Joseph County can be had at bargain prices if you don't mind having cattle, wildlife. and children with multiple heads.
