With shipments of boba originating from Taiwan and Thailand being held up at ports, U.S. boba shops are not running out. But many have switched to other sources.

Today, we went to iTea. Whichever boba they used today is harder and more bland. It's definitely not as good as before. So until the new boba shipments arrive, we may be saddled with inferior stock. Or, skip the regular boba, and go for agar, popping, coffee gelatin, or other jellies.
