If you can GUARANTEE your watch never gets wet? Go for it.
But part of the price of a new battery for the waterproof lines is the seal check.....
I think they put the watch in pressurized air, mayb 10atm....=150PSI....or so.....
Let it sit for 5 mintues than transfer to water.....Any bubbles are a leak. No bubbles and you are good to go...
I wear either a 100m or 200m watch so I do NOT worry about rain or the odd seaside dunking.
TAG does well. They buy movements from a couple sources AND make their own.....
