Without getting bogged in the frustration and details, the overview is that what grows, evolves, and survives is Information — not us, our geneologies, or tools. We are also tools (some more than others I think). Frustration belongs to the tools and processes, not the product.
We believe our gene pools are the end story, but not so. Information in all its forms moves and accumulates constantly, using any means available — us, our tech, AI, our dogs and goldfish.

Consider connector adapters. Much cheaper than a rat's nest of cablery.
