...I too, have a concealed carry permit, although I choose when and where to exercise that legal right. I don't carry a weapon out of fear, nor do I feel that I need to have it concealed, but I am a legitimate and legal gun-owner, and if my gun is under a coat, or in the console/glove compartment of one of my cars/trucks (obscured from view), it is technically "concealed", and I would be in violation of our gun-control laws without one. Emphasis to be added to LEGITIMATE and LEGAL.
I own a big dog "Dark" (German Shepherd), drive fast cars and big trucks/SUVs, have a nice home and stereo gear, still have a full head of (now grey) hair, but none of that has ever affected the size of my "junk". My late wife (only one for nearly 40 years) never complained, and we had two beautiful daughters together.
It's not a "compensation" thing...
